In an effort to be a better bloggeuse, I found a list of a month's worth of blog posts. If I'm lucky, I'll finish them all by the end of the school year. The first post suggested was to post a pic of your office space. So you'll see above est une pretty good shot of my daily office life.
Going from left to right:
On the far left, you'll see a laptop. It's a MacBook Air purchased by my principal. I wish I could say that I used it very rarely because I'm always using my school desktop that is networked, but I'd be lying. I love it and use it ALL THE TIME! I now have a county desktop, county laptop (both Windows 7), and a school laptop (see above), but the county laptop pretty much only gets used as a loaner.
Moving right, you'll see my phone. It's my school phone. Shared with my co-ITS, but situated solidly on my desk. I haven't programmed my preferred numbers in to it yet, but they're coming. I'm still trying to be a nice office mate. :)
After the phone, things get a bit iffy. You can see Purell (moi et mon co-travailleur sommes germaphobes). Il y a aussi a lamp because I hate overhead flourescent lights, Kevin the duck (a gift from 5 ⭐️ mari, il dit QUAAACK!), and note paper. I'm constantly scribbling notes when les profs call or when les élèves forget their log-in information.
Finally, you'll see in the bottom right a phone list and my planner. Contrary to popular belief, I do NOT have the master schedule and extension list mémorisées, so I have to refer back to la liste souvent. My planner is how I keep track of all of the dates and all I have to do. I do have a digital list that is shared entre moi et mon co-travailleur, but I do my best when I keep track on paper.
